CASE STUDY · HEALTHCARE WEB PLATFORM
Alongside the Domedo mobile apps, we built the web side of the platform in React: a marketing site, a patient web app for finding and booking verified specialists for home visits, and a dashboard where specialists manage their profile, calendar and patients, all on the same backend as the apps.
OUR CLIENT
Domedo is a Polish startup launching in Warsaw and the surrounding towns. It is a two sided marketplace that connects patients with verified physiotherapists, midwives and medical trainers who come to the patient's home. We built the whole platform: the mobile apps, the web platform described here, the marketing site and the backend behind all of them. The mobile side is covered in the Domedo mobile app case study.
THE CHALLENGE
Mobile apps alone would not cover how either side of Domedo actually works. Many patients start by searching for physiotherapy near them on Google, and Domedo wanted to acquire them through search from day one, which needs web pages for services and specialists. On the other side, most specialists prefer to set up their offer and manage their schedule on a computer rather than a phone. The web platform had to serve both, stay in sync with the mobile apps, and be ready for the same launch.
THE PRODUCT
The marketing site introduces Domedo and collects a waitlist before launch. The patient web app lets people search, compare and book verified specialists without installing anything. The specialist dashboard gives professionals their profile, offer, calendar, patients and chat on a large screen. All three work on the same NestJS backend as the Flutter apps, so a visit booked on the web appears in the specialist's app, and the other way round.
FOR PATIENTS
The public site explains home visit physiotherapy in plain language, shows what a confirmed visit looks like and invites people to join the waitlist, so Domedo builds its first group of patients while the apps are getting ready for the stores.

Patients choose a service and an address, then narrow the list by language, earliest availability, treated conditions and gender. Every specialist card shows experience, certificates, rating and treated conditions next to a calendar with free times for the chosen day, so a visit can be booked straight from the results.

Each specialist has a page with photos, the professional licence number, experience and a clear list of services grouped by type, each with its length and a booking button. Breadcrumbs from the home page through the category to the specialist make the structure clear for patients and for search engines.

The extended profile covers the specialist's approach, treated conditions, languages, education and certificates, with booking and a question button always in view.

On the web, as in the apps, patients continue with Apple, Google, Facebook or a phone number and a verification code, and the same account works across web and mobile.

FOR SPECIALISTS
Specialists see their profile exactly as patients will, configure their services and areas of help, add a bio, and can offer a free 15 minute call so patients can get to know them before therapy starts. Reviews are marked as coming from visits booked through Domedo.

Before the first booking, the dashboard explains the next step instead of showing an empty screen: complete the profile to become visible, or add patients from a private practice so the whole schedule lives in one place.

The patient list shows every person the specialist works with and how many visits they have had, whether they came through Domedo or from the specialist's own practice.

HOW WE BUILT IT
A public site that explains the service and collects interested patients before the apps reach the stores.
Filters, live availability, service lists and specialist pages structured with search visibility in mind.
Profile preview, offer configuration, calendar, patients and chat, including patients from a private practice.
The same NestJS backend and marketplace payments through Stripe Connect serve the web platform and the Flutter apps.
Building web and mobile at the same time, on one backend, meant every rule was defined once: availability, booking, verification and payments behave the same whether a patient books on a laptop or a phone. The UI design was prepared by an independent designer working with Domedo, and our team turned it into the web platform and the apps.
RESULTS
The marketing site is live and collecting a waitlist, and the patient web app and specialist dashboard are ready alongside the mobile apps for the Warsaw launch. Patients will be able to find Domedo through search and book on the web or in the app, while specialists manage their week on whichever screen suits them. For founders planning something similar, our booking app development page covers how we scope platforms like this.

FAQ
Why build a web version alongside a mobile healthcare app?
For Domedo there were two reasons: patients should be able to find specialists through Google, and most specialists prefer to manage their schedule on a computer. The web platform covers both, on the same backend as the mobile apps.
Can the web platform and the mobile apps share one backend?
Yes. Domedo's React web platform and its Flutter apps use the same NestJS backend, so bookings, availability, chat and accounts stay in sync wherever the patient or specialist signs in.
How do specialist pages help with SEO?
Each specialist and service gets its own page with a clear structure and breadcrumbs, which gives search engines pages that match what patients search for, such as a type of therapy in a given area.
How long did the web platform take?
It was built in parallel with the mobile apps, within about six months for the whole Domedo platform.
How much does a healthcare booking platform cost?
It depends on the number of user roles, web and mobile scope, payments and integrations. Our guide to booking app development cost breaks down the drivers, and our pricing page explains how we scope and price fixed price projects.

One backend, a web platform and apps for both sides of the market. We can scope it with you and give you a fixed price for the first release.
